His father and mother tried to discourage him, and frightened him with deadly dangers he might encounter on the road, but the Prince insisted. So his parents finally agreed and even gave him more than enough money for the trip. The prince saddled his horse and set off in search of adventure. Bari was skilled with his spear and sword, and he bravely faced all the deadly dangers, defeating giants (rather stupid) and saber-tooth tigers (rather cautious). Unfortunately, nobody had thought to warn him of non-deadly dangers that could be much worse…

    Another sweet fairytail of one of my favourite authors. I like thehumor in this story, vey enjoable reading. My teenage children loved it too.
