Very well done! I am a fan of Lynne Marshall’s work, at her ability to dig deep into the emotions of her characters, and the light touch when it comes to the medical aspects. This is one of my favorites, as the character arcs for both Wes and Mary are not only strong but intriguing. They start the story with so much baggage, yet there is that romantic interest in both that has lasted for years. That interest pushes them both into unknown territory. Wes resists, Mary persists. While all the stories Lynne Marshall writes that contain some medical references have been positive plus convincing, MIRACLE FOR THE NEUROSURGEON is her most heartwarming yet. So many factors dealing with having a spinal cord injury are explored, from physical complications to emotional issues, and each matter not only made the two main characters come across as realistic but also very likable. When I start a book by Lynne Marshall, I know the main couple will be facing several difficulties, but most of the time there are not so many added dilemmas for them to triumph over. I was totally drawn into MIRACLE FOR THE NEUROSURGEON from the first chapter, and my interest never waned until I had devoured every compelling word.
When Mary Harris unexpectedly showed up at the home of Wesley Van Allen, she intended to make him realize that he could use her help. A waterskiing mishap had severely damaged his spinal cord, and now the successful neurosurgeon will never walk again. Since

WOW this is a magical story beautifully written and takes on some issues that are very moving and heartfelt I loved it from page one the strength and courage of both the heroine and hero is awesome and MS Marshall has bought it all to life on these pages.
Dr Wes Van Allen is a neurosurgeon and is used to getting his own way he comes from a wealthy privileged family so when an accident takes his ability to walk away and leaves him in a wheelchair he pushes himself to carry on and get some strength back and working out in the gym but he has been through a few physical therapists, so when and old and close friend arrives on his doorstep to help he is not overjoyed but agrees to two months with Mary, attitudes and lives are going to change.
Mary Harris has always been smart and caring but she grew up in a trailer park with very poor parents so when she becomes friends with wealthy Alexander Van Allen this brings her in close contact with all of the Van Allen family
