First we were friends. Then we were roommates. Now I want more…
What can I say about Chess Copper? The woman is capable of bringing me to my knees. I know this about five minutes after getting naked for her.
No one is more surprised than me. The prickly photographer my team hired to shoot our annual charity calendar isn’t my usual type. She’s defense to my offense, a challenge at every turn. But when I’m with her, all the regrets and darkness goes away. She makes life fun.
I want to know Chess, be close to her. Which is a bad idea.
Chess is looking for a relationship. I’ve never given a woman more than one night. But when fate leaves Chess without a home, I step up and offer her mine. We’re roommates now. Friends without benefits. But it’s getting harder to keep our hands off each other. And the longer we live together the more I realize she’s becoming my everything.
Trick is… Now that I’ve made her believe I’m a bad bet, how do I convince her to give this player a true shot at forever?

I really enjoy Kristen Callihan , I loved her book the "Hook Up " because there was growth in her story and characters,it wasn’t the same old same old ,and Friend Zone was so witty, fun laugh out loud moments , just amazing.I could go on and on about all the books by this author because I have read them all, most are really good and some have been just ok , this one is just ok. It was slow going , I was at the 50 percent mark and thought "come on let’s get this couple going " , then when it did get going it got very wordy and very cliche .It not a new story , the author played it safe , nothing you haven’t read before which was disappointing. Had promise but it just didn’t turn into anything that I haven’t read so many times over , sorry to say. Just wanted to have Chess and Finn grow and mature as a couple and not do that oh so typical "run "factor, I wanted fun ,witty smart and sexy and I got slow moving and juvenile behavior, just gets boring after a

This was a great story but all the glaring grammar and spelling errors were really off-putting. Please please please find yourself an editor. Some of the mistakes were so basic it made my eyes water. It was not a cheap book so I don’t feel it is unrealistic to expect it to be edited for grammar and typos.

I found it very hard to rate this book. Because, I am a big fan of this series and although I liked it, I didn’t fell in love with it. Maybe my expectations were too high? I don’t know. I only know that when I finished it, I wasn’t 100% satisfied. I missed something in it.
Chester (Chess) Copper is a professional photographer and her new project is something special. She’s been choosing to make a nude calendar of some players of the New Orleans football team (and this in the name of charity). Chess knows that many women (and even some men) would love to be in her place right now. But they don’t realize that the job isn’t as easy as they think. Luckily she’s a professional and she’s used to dealing with men who sometimes act like naughty little boys. But she didn’t counted on the hot quarterback Finn Mannus. Although you can’t really call their first meeting a real success, there was a special moment between Chess and Finn during the photo shoot, where Finn showed Chess a
